Legacy. Governors and Presidents worry, “What will my legacy be?”. It’s a fancy-shmancy way of asking, “What exactly will they say I DID for 8 years?”

Kathy, a local friend and blogger, hit me with a meme, and while I am late, i did not forget this one.

So here goes.

1. Wrapping or gift bags? What ever is easiest
2. Real or artificial tree? Fake..and it rotates and has fiber optic lights. WalGreen special
3. When do you put up the tree? Normally the beginning of Dec. but this year we simply did not get around to it.
4. When do you take the tree down? The week after<

Rev. Wayne Dehoney was my pastor when I was in seminary. He was always
an inspiration to me with his particular interest in seminary students.
On Sunday night he would teach us how to preach. For years I kept
notecards with illustrations on them. I will always remember his Back To
Bethel Sermon and the Christmas Story of the soldier returning home and
seeing white flags over the large tree in his yard to let him know that
his family loved him.
