ACORN is much more than just "advocates for homeowners" as they have their fingers in lots of different battles, but they are primarily proponents of a real "living wage" for workers in the US.

This morning I had 3 more email notifications from PayPal for donations made toward my laptop fundraising. The goal has been reached, and I am very very grateful for everyone who helped out. I can now get back to blogging on homelessness. Thank You.
A Special Note of thanks to the people of Mobile Loaves and Fishes - the Nashville chapter - for responding so quickly to my needs when my backpack

I had no idea that way back in May, before I was hired with Emma, that I would be responsible for creating what will soon be "the" new media event of the year in Nashville. I should note that were it not for my partner in crime, Marcus Whitney, this wouldn't even be happening.
A brief background of how this has come to be...

Wow, it's been quite some time since I posted on the blog. Things have been insane in my life to say the least. In the beginning of last month I was hired as New Media Manager by Emma. Emma is a fantastic email marketing company. I absolutely love the position, company and people I work with. I'm not boasting here, but I have to say that I am finally 100% happy in a position. You can read more about Emma here.
