Let me tell you a story about beaches - predominantly, beaches are that are considered “public domain.” Anyone can walk down the beach, and as they stroll along the water; they pause to enjoy the scenery, and stop to build sand castles. Why? Because sand castles bring joy to others through their beauty, and the people who build them love what they’re doing.

And, more importantly, is it possible for a teacher to have a truly fulfilling relationship with someone who has never been in the classroom? I imagine all professions that are all-consuming, like medicine, nursing, law, etc., tend to create fraternities of people who know what it's like to be in the trenches. It creates a natural barrier between you and all those who aren't initiated. But...
