People make fun of me for reading the Obituaries.  I don’t know why I do it.  It’s just something I’ve done since I was about 10.  I figure it has something to do with that side of me that loves history.

Wow, I am so shocked about something I just read in my hometown newspaper, I’m almost speechless; and, in fact, jumped over here to write about it while I’m still processing the shock before I finished reading the rest of the paper (or the rest of the article, for that matter).

This is why you will sometimes see "funeral arrangements are incomplete" in the print newspaper but the web site will already have the service times...
