That is the question we are all asking ourselved tonight as temperatures have dropped through the 60's, through the 50's and now stand at 50.6°......combine that with a north wind that has been persistent around 15 mph this evening and you've got a raw, late fall evening.

A small line of showers is moving through Middle TN this morning. According to the NWS, they should produce only about a tenth (.10) of an inch of rainfall. Later today, under daytime heating, clouds will build and possibility exists for developing showers and thunderstorms.

The overnight threat of severe weather never materialized...which is a GOOD thing! Our main concern today is a developing line of storms just ahead of the cold front. The front stretches from St. Louis to Houston and storms will begin to develop. They will move eastward throughout the day.

Temperatures across Tennessee will reach in the 70's once again on Tuesday. The warmup is ahead of a storm system that will invade our area tonight into Wednesday.

We'll have a beautiful, sunny Wednesday here on the Plateau. Temperatures will top out around 58° after our morning start in the middle and upper 30's. Don't get to used to sunshine as rain returns through at least Friday night.

We'll be very cold again tonight....temperatures across Middle Tennessee are in the mid 20's at 9:20 pm. Looks like 18-20° will be the right call for the Cookeville and Northern Cumberland Plateau area. According to the NWS-Nashville, some high clouds are slipping in from the low forming in the gulf and affect our weather for Wednesday night into Thursday.

At this point, the call is for Snow and Sleet overnight Wednesday turning back into all rain on Thursday. That is what I call a
