I make it a point to go out to lunch every day.  I've done so for many years.  It serves two purposes.  One is that I can have a better variety of places and types of food to eat and the other is it gets me off campus for a little while.  Both of those things are good things.  Therefore since my early January arrival on my new campus I've been heading out for lunch on a daily basis.

Again, I went a very respectable 3-1 in my picks for the second round. Not too bad again don’t ya think Mr. Mack? If it wasn’t for those darned Sandiego Chargers mucking it all up for the second straight week, I too could have been perfect.

I could listen all day to BR-549 singing “Sweet Betsy from Pike.”  I just love the way they say “Betsy” compared to all the other words in the song, which they let breathe naturally–first growing great big and then fading away.

But they sing “Betsy” like two short spikes of poetry.

I just like it.

I get used to hearing my name like it’s just something ordinary.  But I love hearing it poking out like a tiny spur in
