The city where I live has an ordinance against modifying motorcycle exhaust systems from manufacturer’s original. I’m not positive, but I think this is one of those “look the other way” ordinances.

–Dr. J and her lover both got jobs!  At a place that will require me to visit so that I may soak up the sun.

–My dad is home from the hospital and shuffling around the house with his teddy bear.  I about can’t stand it, it’s so cute.

–Bridgett got tenure!

–Work sent me a press release to work on.  I can use my brain.

I’ve grown up using phrases like “personal saviour” and “personal relationship with God/Jesus Christ”.  And I do firmly believe in personal interactions with the Divine.

But I am getting kind of tired of all of the blogs and testimonies which seem to focus fully on What God Has Done For Me Lately.

I hope most people would have a sense of outrage over the ‘Mohammed’ teddy bear controversy in the Sudan.

Of course, some peoples’ outrage is itself outrageous.
