we are in the midst of chaos of our physical environment at hfumc. we are building and it is great, we've been discerning it, planning it, talking it, raising funds for it, and waiting on the church for three years. but it's starting to happen.

Sometimes, I almost feel bad for Mack because he’ll call me up for some reason and it’ll set me off on some tangent and the next thing I know I’m off on a course of action that seems eminently sensible and obviously suggested by his comments and he’s all “What the [bleep]?”

So, I've run into two products today, both of which deserve a mention.

A blog has been created this morning in memory of Maria Chapman, daughter of recording artist Stephen Curtis Chapman. Maria died yesterday after being accidentally struck by a vehicle in the Chapmans’ driveway.

After promising big changes at Tayst restaurant for months, chef Jeremy Barlow has just received certification from the Green Restaurant Association. Tayst is the first Nashville restaurant to earn the designation.
