We're off to the southern US this week, and taking a look at the great state of Texas!

This week, we're taking a look at one of the Midwest's great breweries - Three Floyds. Special thanks to Jeff for mailing us several bottles of Three Floyds' beer so we could do this show. We can't get their beer here in Nashville, and what a shame - this is some incredible stuff.

This week, we're taking a look at the West Coast of the U.S. in a show dedicated to one of the largest, and wackiest, states in the nation - California. No stranger to the craft beer world, California is brimming with tons of breweries, and many of them are quite famous. It all started in this state with Anchor Brewing, and has grown like wildfire since then.

It seems that today is the 75th anniversary of the the return of beer. It had been 14 years since prohibitionists had gotten a new amendment and April 7 was the day it became legal to down a pint. Such an important date - why are we all at work? Why aren’t we out drinking?

What's Brew Year's Eve?

This week, we're taking a look at beers from the UK. This area of the world has a very deep and rich history of beer, and several styles of beer have started in this part of the world. The breweries that exist in the UK are sometimes very old and have a long heritage of brewing incredible craft beers.

We're back to normal this week and we're talking all about dubbels!

This week, we take a look at beers just from the Northeast. This region of the United States has some major powerhouse breweries and we sample beers from three of them this week. Brewers like Sam Adams, Dogfish Head, Ommegang, and Victory are all from this area and set the stage for some serious beer culture.

Easing back into posting this week I’m going to introduce the Nashville rank for this month: Nashville Local Beers. Back in October Ben organized a Nashville brewery crawl where the people attending sampled and ranked beer. He wrote an amazing 6 part series exploring the beers of each of the local breweries
visited: Yazoo, Big River, Blackstone and Boscos.
