I am usually much better about updating this blog, it's been a week and I apologize.
I hate excuses but work has been a bit of a nightmare this week.
To say I am happy the weekend is here is an understatement.
ANYWAY--last weekend we got the family together and celebrated Gabi's 4th Birthday.

We have a WILD celebration planned at the Barrett ranch.
Gabi, Daddy, Grandma L, Papa Steve, Uncle Shane and Aunt Chrissy are going to devour some barbecue tonight and then head over for a fireworks show.
Gabi is really excited!
She keeps asking: "Why are we going to see fireworks mommy?" just so she can hear about it one more time.

So far on my Halloween poll, the winning option is me giving out bouncy balls or some other non-food items to trick or treaters. That's good, because that's what I decided to do anyway. :-) Mel had some mini-tubs of Play-Doh that she wasn't going to use, so I bought those off of her.
