'Cause everything is related to politics...I think it would be interesting to map out the correlation between obesity rates and political inclinations this fall. Though, it may have more to due with age than anything else. In the map below on obesity rates nationwide, Colorado ranks the lowest, but this likely has to due with it having one of the youngest populations in the nation.

AP: Obama Could Take the South

The Associated Press released an article today explaining how a 30% increase in voter turnout for Obama in the black community could swing the South, including Tennessee, into the blue column. The article cites the fact that Georgia was won by only 216,000 votes, and with the 30% increase Obama  would take the state by 84,000 votes.

The U.S. Supreme Court has released its opinion in Kennedy v. Louisiana, regarding the constitutionality of sentencing a person to death for the rape of a child in which no murder occurs. Patrick Kennedy is the first person in the country in the modern era of the death penalty to receive such a sentence.

The Louisiana House of Representatives has passed a bill that would allow critical thinking in schools with respect to evolution. Look for the left to oppose this with both barrels. After all, critical thinking destroys evolution. Come to think of it, critical thinking destroys liberalism.
