I love this day. I love this weekend. I love being born now. The sun is shining, the birds are singing, my hammock waits for me under the Osage Orange tree.

I’m doing my best, as I explained in an email to someone yesterday, to live at peace with all mankind. That’s sort of my promise to Casey–to follow his example of kindheartedness as his legacy. Proof That This Blog Isn't Helping (or, "Three of the Worst Signs Ever Submitted.")11

Find more posts like this: We got a good night's sleep last night. We're up and ready for the day. We've just come back from the hot breakfast at the hotel. I'm sitting here eating a bacon and egg biscuit and some boiled eggs. Casey's eating the strawberry waffle that he made at the waffle station. The buffet was interesting to say the least. Find more posts like this: My life is such a whirlwind right now. I'm behind schedule, since I was sick for the past two weeks. There's so much to do now. I still have to pack, clean out the car, load the car, get the dogs dropped off at the kennel, make sure that I remember everything, etc. I just KNOW that I'm going to forget something important. Casey and I have about 10 lists going right now. Break It You Buy It Doesn’t Apply?5

Find more posts like this: If it's anything I DON'T need to be right now it's sick. I started feeling puny on Tuesday. I had a really bad bout with reflux. I've suffered from it, since I was a teenager and have been hospitalized for it before. I knew I had to get a handle on it really quick. I felt yucky yesterday too, so I took off from work. Learning4

Find more posts like this: The puppies are fast catching on to the idea of daily walks at the park. Molly never was a big car fan. She was always anxious, when she got in for a ride and only after us picking her up and putting her inside. After 4 days of walks, she's already connected the car with a good thing. Now, when we go out with her she just hops up into the car, ready to go. |
