I'm still recovering from Bonnaroo. It's fun, but for an old goat like me, it's a lot of work to be out in the sun and mostly on your feet for 8-12 hours a day for three days straight. I'm lucky I have a desk job.

Yesterday I wrote about how Becky and I have tried to simplify our thinking about simplicity.  Today is all about how we’ve, over the last three years, simplified how we live as a result of that kind of thinking.  I want to be clear though that we have not “arrived” - whatever that is - but we feel we’re still in transition toward simplicity.

It's been awful quiet around here, I know. There are a couple of reasons for that:

1. My tonsils are still rebelling against me and my body. I'm now pulling out the equivalent of an atomic bomb on them in hopes of getting them unswollen. And praying I don't have to have a tonsillectomy.

2. There is no number two except to say that side effects from the treatment of my tonsils continues to render most food inedible or unappetizing.
