You may or may not have read about the plane crash in Honduras, which killed 4 and injured 65. It was a flight from LA to Tegucigalpa and ended quite badly, but not as badly as it could have.

Once upon a time, before I had my license, my daddy would pick me up after school sometimes. Since, in some ways, our personalities are near-identical, some days we'd sit the entire 15 minutes home in complete silence. Some days, though, he'd humor my blossoming adolescent mind and listen to some half-cocked theory I'd developed about the universe that very day.

I understand the rationale here, and while it's a valid one, I still think Tennesseans ought to be pretty ticked that this money is not being utilized for the crisis they're facing in the state today.
