Well, ok.  So maybe I wasn't as "back" as I thought; but here we go again making an effort to blog more consistently.  What better way to jump back in than to discuss fellow Nashvillian and CPA dad, Stephen Mansfield's new book "The Faith of Barak Obama".

The Jerusalem Post today carries a story about the goals of the emerging Anglo political party, the American Israeli Action Coalition, to represent the estimated 250,000 Israeli American citizens.

Blue Collar Muse pulls this quote from a July 2 speech by Barak Obama:

Barak Obama has found another reason he's embarrassed by the country he wishes to lead. The Obamessiah says he "doesn't get" the drive to make English our country's official language, and admits he is "embarrassed" by Americans who can't speak Spanish or French.

The Court upholds 5-4 that the Constution indeed grants the individual the right to bear a firearm to defend his or her home. While narrow in scope, this is a great day for Constitutional liberty.

Presidential contender Barak Obama was, amazingly, given the pulpit at a church he visited yesterday. He gave a rousing Father's Day speech which he apparently plagiarized from Bill Cosby. Of course, he was probably preaching to the choir. He should have taken his stump speech to a local high school or Planned Parenthood clinic.

I'm headed out the door, but wanted to bring to attention that The New York Times is reporting that in light of the sermons that have been preached there, Barak Obama has resigned his membership in Trinity United Church of Christ.
