Apologies to everyone who reads here regularly for not posting more often. This weekend will be no better because I’ll be gone for a few days. I’m hoping our contributing authors will jump in this weekend if anything is on their minds or in the news.

Brendan Loy reports a key fact about California Supreme Court’s ruling approving gay marriage:

Y’all, as you may recall, I sent Rachel from Women’s Health News a crocheted cooter through inter-office mail two weeks ago.  It has yet to arrive.

I think it may be time to acknowledge that the cooter is not going to get there.

Please pray for my friend Mark (who comments here as Warrior).  He got some awfully bad health news today (I don’t want to get more specific unless he says it’s OK).  Just know it’s pretty rough.

He’s had a pretty tough time healthwise for many, many years, but he’s made of sturdy stuff, and he has the prayers of many friends and loved ones to strengthen him.

But all your prayers and good thoughts are much appreciated.
