This month marks the first anniversary of this blog, The Earth Is Not a Trash Can. Previously blog attempts ended much sooner in failure. I became bored, or no one was reading my comments (probably because I was bored).

Here are a few things I have learned about making your home attractive to show to potential buyers.
1. Keep a few lights on and the curtains open when showing your home. Darkness is never good.
2. Keep your kitchen and bathroom extremely clean. Never leave towels or clothing laying around. Make up the beds and put the toys away. If you have a two year old like I do, this may not be easy.

I went out today with my new 0.3 megapixel toy camera. This camera was sold in Target stores during the holidays for $20. I waited until after Christmas and snagged one for $10 on clearance. However, I got the last one so I had to settle for one without an instruction booklet. I have had similar cameras before so I know pretty well how they operate.
