So I decided to attend the Parent's Association lunch (or "luncheon" as they call it) last week, to try to meet some of the moms at H's new school.  She goes and decides to change schools in 9th grade, something she didn't have to do, since her first school was K-12, and now I have to be the "new mom".  Did my daughter think about my feelings?   Nooooooo.  Ne

Before we had the Internet, how did we ever go, "I wonder what happened to _____" and then find out?

Today is Gabi's first day of preschool, she moved up the Dino-4's classroom.
It's the same school, different building and for some reason that makes all the difference.
It just felt more like real school...and that just doesn't seem possible.
I can't believe FOUR YEARS has passed since I first met her in the hospital, after a long and exhausting labor.

Dear Kenzo - in ten hours you will be a middle schooler. Seems like ten minutes ago we were getting ready for kindergarten. The next three years will be crazy, I can think of no other way to describe it. Life will get faster, decisions will get harder, challenges will be greater.
