We will have increased chances of rainfall as the southerly flow pulls in high humidity! As we progress through the weekend, a front comes through. The front could cause some severe weather on Saturday and Sunday.

At 7 a.m., temperatures range from 35° in the Tri-Cities in upper east Tennessee to 53° at the Memphis Int'l Airport in extreme west Tennessee.

Beautiful sunshine for today as a most southerly flow will make temperatures rise quickly! Should see a high of 70° this afternoon here in the Cookeville area.

Thursday and Friday's highs should reach 77°+.

Strong winds from the south kept temperatures in the 50s last night. That steady southerly flow keeps us very mild through Tuesday.
This morning it’s cloudy with a few sprinkles, but we’ll be mostly cloudy by afternoon. Highs will hit the middle 60s, though winds will gust to 25 mph at times.

With the southerly flow turned on, our temperatures this morning are as much as 20° warmer in some areas compared with the last two mornings! We'll see highs in the 40's to near 50 today.
