I’m proud of myself for getting stuff done this weekend.

Because Saturday was spent celebrating C’s birthday with family and friends, I turned down the opportunity to hang out at the lake on Sunday. With the house to myself, I turned up the music and got to work.

The Pickerel Frog that Wasn’t

edited to add:  After looking at more pictures online, I determined that the frogs I found today are actually Southern Leopard Frogs, not Pickerel Frogs.  The difference is that the Southern Leopard frog has a longer snout then the Pickerel Frog.  After comparing the frogs I found today with pictures

I heard a few months ago that one was opening in the Kroger shopping center in Brentwood. Today I saw a sign in the old Uncle Gio's window that read "BRICKS." Is this a fourth location, or did they decide to seize the opportunity with Uncle Gio's closing? Betcha the rent there is much, much cheaper, and the building is almost brand-new.
