Just about a week until my family arrives. I was really looking forward to their visit, but now I'm lackadaisical. (And yeah, I spelled it on the first shot)

Made pancakes today. Decided that, while I consider myself a pretty damn good cook, I should recognize my limitations. I suck at making pancakes. Also decided, I need to break down and get some new pots & pans.

TV must be really boring. There must be no good books left to read. Perhaps all the zoos have closed down and the Ice Cream trucks are under quarantine.

I can’t think of any other reason why someone would pretend to be a friend of mine, use that person’s name and come to my blog to stir up a fight between the two of us.

He’s all about it if you want to give aborted fetuses a death certificate, tax porn or ban the discussion of homosexuality in the classroom but permitting man’s best friend in the outdoor seating area at the Cheesecake Factory?

I went over to see the College Professor yesterday and she was telling me the craziest story, about how the woman who used to be the English Department secretary when I was there has gone on to write a book and become a famous Christian self-help author.  We went to look at her book’s website both to be mortified and tickled.
