I got back from Knoxville a couple of hours ago, where my brother today graduated from UT. So proud!
I always have such high hopes for graduation ceremonies. I always end up bored out of my freaking mind (this includes my own two graduations). I was, however, glad to be there. Family stuff is fun.

Sister in law and her husband arrived yesterday and just left a couple of hours ago. They were supposed to stay with us, but they chose to check into a hotel. I wish I would have known. I still would have straightened, but I didn't need to wash all the bedding, get extra groceries, etc.

I always get anxious when the Butcher leaves. And so I’m anxious, because he’s leaving tomorrow. It will be fine. It always is. But still. I worry he’ll do something stupid or something bad will happen. I’m not one of those people who gets bad feelings and so the absense of any nagging bad feeling means nothing.
