I had the FUNNEST lunchtime today, y’all. 

I returned to my former place of employment and got to enjoy some quality, :cough: Christian fellowship with my Shishter….my old boss and another former co-worker. 

"Are you sure you don't mind if Ella stays for a few hours?" the mom of one of Punky's friends asked me the other day while dropping her daughter off at our house.

"Are you kidding?" I laughed. "Punky's been begging to see her again! But I thought she had preschool today."

"We skipped it," she grinned. "Too lazy. Okay, well I'll be back in three hours."

Today is the last day to bid on wonderful children’s artwork to benefit the We Can Solve it Project. The Kid Art Auction for Earth Day is the brainchild of Aimee at Greeblemonkey.

If it's anything I DON'T need to be right now it's sick. I started feeling puny on Tuesday. I had a really bad bout with reflux. I've suffered from it, since I was a teenager and have been hospitalized for it before. I knew I had to get a handle on it really quick. I felt yucky yesterday too, so I took off from work.

Hoo boy, yeah, we’re really getting up to date and into this century here now, you bet. How, you say? Why, take a look down that left sidebar. No, further down. Yeah, there.

I don’t know about you, but I prefer restaurants with patios. With the new indoor smoking ban, I imagine there are going to be more patios available, but (unfortunately) I’m guessing they’ll be populated with smokers.

Boy, it’s non-stop excitement here in southern California’s bastion of wealth and excess.
