I have to concur with the Brainstem on this one. Much has been made of John McCain prowess in the town hall debate format but just because that is how the man prefers to campaign does not give him an advantage.

The precise cure to what ails America’s financial health is beyond my ability to prescribe.  However, I’m not troubled that the House defeated the proposed bailout bill–and my reason for thinking so should resonate with many Democrats.

How do we know the threat to the economy is real?

It could not be a better time for the Democrats to elect a president. We are in throes of an expensive and unnecessary war. The GOP spends, well, like Democrats; and also refuses to cut Federal spending. Oil prices are high and home prices are down. George W. Bush is so unpopular now that I am not entirely sure that he has been invited to his daughter’s upcoming wedding.

Dear Fellow Democrats,

I just read Sen. Barack Obama's speech in its entirety (here), and I have to say I'm impressed. He is good, and I predict that this speech is perfect for what Obama is focused on right now--winning the DNC nomination.

Okay.  This post was up all day with “alludes” instead of “eludes” in the title.
