A hermitage water project is now in its second month. The job seemed simple enough. Fix a pipe under the street. But residents there wonder if the city is doing the best job it can.

It's weird how you (or, mostly, I) can be in the pit of despair at one point, then mostly content maybe 48 hours later. I imagine part of it has to do with its being Friday, but the misery I was feeling toward the beginning and middle of the week has abated and I'm okay now. Reasonably hopeful, in fact.
