Since I am a former resident of South Knoxville, and a former student at South Middle School, I read this news today with interest:

Today, the dilapidated former South Knox High School sold at public auction to buyer Bahman Kasraei for a total of $117,700.

Opening night at Three Flights Up this last Friday was cool. I met a lot of people and had a great time showing my artwork, and watching and listening to people as they examined the pieces at this show. It's so nice to be able to get feedback on my work. I was surprised at how many people knew my work was Fractals.

Today marks fifteen years I’ve been doing my morning show here. I started work here in January of 1993 but my morning show debut was on April 2, 1993.

No special show this morning (five years ago Gov. Bredesen called in). Just the usual Wednesday oldies show and that’s fine with me.

Regular reader Richard and a couple of other opponents of the toll road legislation will be heading to Nashville for the April 2nd hearing in the Senate Transportation Committee. If anyone wants to go, you can hitch a ride with these good government guys. They’ll be leaving from the Knoxville area.
