From 1973 until he died a couple of weeks ago, my father had to wear braces on his legs. He actually invented these braces himself, and they helped him to sort-of-walk (along with canes).

The NAACP Nashville branch is demanding that the MNPS BOE rescind their rezoning vote. I hope the BOE responds with thanks for their concern but lets them know they're not going to change a thing. The City Paper has their letter to the BOE.

I set myself a task of going through my dresser and tossing or giving to Goodwill everything I had not worn.  In the process I found my college diploma, a lot of bras I don’t ever remember being small enough to fit in, and MY DEAD PEOPLE!

Here I am once again.  Needing to go to bed because I can’t seem to get enough sleep lately but also needing to get the laundry switched from washer to dryer so I have some pants to wear to work tomorrow.

As usual, I have nothing of substance to say so will just ramble for a bit here.

When the antics of Bill Hobbs makes the New York Times, CNN and all of the major news outlets, you know he’s sitting home grinning. He did his job. Not only did he get the Tennessee GOP noticed, but he’s gaining a Rovian presence on the national front.
