An Internet friend sent me this months ago, and I have been meaning to post it:

I recently picked a new primary care doctor. After two visits and exhaustive lab tests, he said I was doing "fairly well" for my age.

A little concerned about that comment, I couldn't resist asking him, "Do you think I'll live to be 80?"

I'm thinking of changing the name of this blog to "Lack of Sex and the City". Or, more accurately, "Lack of sex...and the city."

It is hard to stay poor in America. Having worked with poor people most of my life, I have observed some of the things that people do to achieve poverty. Here is a list.
