It is not surprising Rush's Music has been providing services to the community for Fifty Years. The Rush family's knowledge and kindness was appreciated by so many. It appears the more recent owners have carried on their values well.

There is a country just ninety miles from the shores of the United States that I have never been to. The Republic of Cuba is the home of my grandmother and countless uncles, aunts and cousins scattered throughout Florida and points north. I am not allowed to travel to Cuba because there is an economic embargo on that country which has been in place for almost fifty years.

I spent just about the whole day yesterday painting J’s room. Until this weekend, the walls were an incredibly dry, flat, white. The walls probably hadn’t seen fresh paint since they were put up forty to fifty years ago. Not only were they incredibly dingy looking, they also had hand prints and other signs of wear. In short, they were depressing.
