Yesterday Alice and I spent the morning hiding out from Alice's cousin, MarshaMarshaMarsha. She was in town with her son, Ichabod, who was competing in a dominoes competition and wanted us to come watch. Yes, you read that right, MarshaMarshaMarsha expected her grown cousin to sit in a ballroom that did not have air conditioning and watch her kid play...dominoes.

So, we’re driving along and the nephew announces, “I see something black!”

“Is it a red door painted black?”

“No, it’s God.”

“God is in the car.”

“No, God’s clothes.”

“God’s a ninja?”

“Yep. Hei-ya!”

There are times that I find out things that I didn’t know. It’s an oddity rather when you have perceptions about things and then you find out stuff like this.

Hi guys.  I’ve been out of the blogworld lately and I’ve missed it.  Not that I have much to say but just rambling aimlessly does me good sometimes.  So let’s get back to rambling shall we?

Bint Alshamsa has a post up about the whole white feminists voting for McCain thing.  In it she says:

A teenager who was shot dead not only made the front page of one of the bigger British papers, but it was breaking news.

He wasn't famous, he was a teenager like any other teenager.

So why front page breaking news?
