While everyone is focused on Heller, another important ruling was issued, this in regards to campaign finance reform.

When I worked downtown, I used to wish I had a card with a list of resources for people down on their luck. I didn't want to give money to panhandlers, but I did wish for ideas to help people who needed a way out of their situation.

Two years later, I found out that such a resource does exist.

If blog years are dog years, I've been blogging now for nearly 21 of them. I figure that gives me just enough experience to write about this topic.

My retirement funding took a hit this year and I need some extra cash. I wonder if I could get just a one-way deal? I think I’d do better at that then hitting a convenience store.

The Wall Street Journal has an interesting column in today’s paper about unclaimed property. From the Journal:

This afternoon I have a job interview for another department within my company. This job will take me away from speaking to customers directly on the phone and dealing only with other employees. There isn’t any extra cash involved but more importantly it will save my health and sanity.

By the way, what purpose does it serve to make me wait until 2:15pm for my interview? I have to sit here all day talking on the telephone in my tie. Why not an ear
