Benji Olson will retire this afternoon.  He had hinted at this at the end of the season.  This means the Titans will lose both of their starting guards from last season's team with Jacob Bell signing with the St. Louis Rams earlier this offseason.

Close the Door Behind You: Travis LaBoy and Jacob Bell Out

It appears that Travis LaBoy has agreed to a deal with the Arizona Cardinals, and Jacob Bell has agreed to a deal with the St. Louis Rams.  While it is tough to see all these guys leave, I don't think it is the end of the world.  There is a hole at left end, especially when you consider that the only ends currently on the roster behind Kyle Vanden Bosch are Bryce Fisher (who is probably done), Sean Conover (who isn't good), and Jacob Ford (who is a big question mark).

Roster Evaluation: Offensive Line

The offensive line is one of the highlights of this Titans' roster.  They have two solid tackles in Michael Roos and David Stewart that are still under contract for next season.  Tackles are the most important part of an offensive line and where the bulk of the offensive line money should be spent.  The Titans enter the offseason with over $40 million in cap space.  They should use some of that money to lock both of these guys up long term.

Guard is a differ

Vince Young handled his biggest workload of the week and appears to be on track to start on Sunday.  Fisher said the decision will not be made until about 90 minutes before kickoff.  Young is officially listed as questionable.

The news is not as good for the people who protect him.  Kevin Mawae and Benji Olson were both listed as doubtful for the game on Sunday.  If both cannot go, Eugene Amano will get the start at center and Daniel Loper will play guard.
