The Nashville City Paper's Richard Lawson has written another tired and disjointed screed that does the very thing he accuses neighborhood leaders of doing: demonizing his opponents, neighborhood leaders.

I've seen a lot of hypocrites in politics on both sides, but how on earth did John McCain think he'd get away with running for President and coming to Bush's defense last week about not negotiating with Hamas, when as recent as 2006, McCain wanted America to negotiate with Hamas?

What is "eco hypocrisy?" See "greenwash."

At some base level, all dictatorial types are hypocrites. Aggrandizing power involves a certain amount of demagoguery, and keeping that power usually involves projecting the societal problems that arise from totalitarian rule on a predictive bogeyman. Bill Hobbs, in a press release, takes aim at the Tennessee Democratic Party and specifically Democratic Representative Nathan Vaughn for torpedoing a resolution to amend the constitution on abortion:

Also, given the ATF’s recent crack down on FFLs, I wonder when the VPC’s last inspection was? And how many transfers they’ve done. If none, then that could mean they’re not a business and, per ATF, that is bad.
