Whoopiteedoo.  While I rejoice and celebrate the 4th of July and take pride in being an American, the 4th of July this year begs me to answer just one question.  Do I catch up on housework tomorrow or do I just laze around or play all day? 

So I just watched the movie Juno for the first time this week and I LOVED it! Can't believe it took me this long to see it! I was so smitten with the quirkiness of the film and the creative behind it. The opening title sequence was so intriguing to me I decided to dig a little deeper about this tedious art. . .

There is a plus side to having the temperature at 91, humidity of 52%, and not a breath of air at 8 p.m.

It’s great cigar smoking weather.

First Hour- The wine is poured and I have a cold so at any moment I might explode.

7:56 Just experimenting here and the cold has the best of me. I’ll check in periodically. And why isn’t anyone talking about Rhianna’s Wheat dress? Waiting on Amy Winehouse. I know she’s a hot mess but I think she’s cool. I may move into hour two on a new post. Maybe, maybe not.

I stumbled upon a list of the 10 most romantic scenes ever to hit celluloid. And, of course, Casablanca’s “We always have Paris” tops the list.

One of the things I liked most about Brittney and NiT was that she scoured the web and culled all the wheat from the chaff so I didn’t have to. It’s regrettable that I no longer have my personal web culler (hmm…suddenly, I want a cruller) and I feel like there’s a lot out there I’m missing. And a lot more that I’m wasting time by reading.

if you don’t go out and buy or download ‘100 Days 100 Nights’ by Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings. As Arthur Conley once said..’Do you like good music..sweet soul music?’. Sharon Jones is the real thing.
