The United States - now that President Bush has spent another 800 BILLION dollars , bailing out America's need for a 700 BILLION dollar bail out , this country resembles another cheap western movie. You know , those Saturday evening spaghetti shows , where only the hero is " THE ONLY " person willing to stand up to Joe Bart and his gang.

Mangano is using highly suspicious and questionable "data" (HMIS reports) to toot his own horn at the supposedly amazing, stupendous drop in national homelessness over the previous two years of "almost 30 percent." Unfortunately, the reality doesn't match his wishful thinking.

8 years of misery under failed Republican policies, coupled with barriers and obstacles put in place as punitive measures to keep hopeless, poverty-stricken, desperate people even further down. A housing crisis beyond comparison. An economy in turmoil and freefall. Gas prices set to enrich the privileged few at the expense of the many poor.
