After Wednesday night’s festivities ended, there was a minor elevator mishap at the Pepsi Center that involved Clinton, sources tell ABC News.

Apparently, Barack Obama should be giving his acceptance speech at a Waffle House according to our Governor, Phil Bredesen.

Over at Redstate, Absentee did a visual study to find American flags that the DNC had put up around the Pepsi Center and not including any which are standard fare for a convention center.

Volunteers Guard Trash Cans at Democratic Convention

Ken Whitehouse reports from the floor of the Democratic Convention:

I'm here at the Pepsi Center, getting set up for the 3:00 nominations. All (or most) of the Tennessee delegation votes have been cast. The votes will be entered into the computer at 3PM, and the roll call is scheduled to commence at 4PM. Tennessee Democratic Party Chair Gray Sasser will cast Tennessee's votes.

Lot's of activity outside the DNC. Civic Center Park is about 1/2 to 1 mile from the Pepsi Center. The US Mint, the State Capitol building, the Denver Art Museum, and the Colorado History Museum all border the park area. Think World's Fair Park and KMA, oh the potential.

The folks at Pandagon point us to NRO’s latest Obama-mocking. Apparently someone thinks the backdrop at the Pepsi Center looks too reminiscent of a church manger scene for this crowd, so of course Obama must be mocked for comparing himself to the Messiah.

The DNC has released the Pepsi Center delegate seating chart. Tennessee could have done worse, but I might need a longer lens to get any photos. Illinois, Michigan, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Colorado are center court.
