Tonight there is real life football taking place on the field.  Even though it is a preseason game, it is our first chance we get to see the 2008 Titans take the field.  The first preseason game can get a little boring in the 4th quarter, but there are plenty of things that we can watch for early in the game:

Leodis McKelvin, cornerback, Troy

It is completely unfair that a team that finished the season 18-1 gets the 7th overall pick in the draft and gets a shot at a plyaer like McKelvin.

The NFL announced preseason schedules yesterday.  The Titans will play the St. Louis Rams and the Oakland Raiders at L.P. Field.  They will travel to play the Atlanta Falcons and Green Bay Packers in there other two games.

Rob Bironas was the hero of the 2007 season.  He made 35 of his 39 field goal attempts, including an NFL record 8 in one game, on the season.  He also made all 28 of his extra point attempts.  Next year I would like to see the number change to 35 extra points and 28 field goals.

Craig Hentrich had another solid year.
