So, I’m doing due diligence, reading up on the history of the Opry.  I thought it was completely cool that when they moved it from the Ryman, they cut out a circle of wood where past performers had entertained countless audiences.  Then…I read this:

And a cherry tree.  Seems we had a not so typical Tuesday evening filled with Irish and Scottish singers.  Andi and I went to KT Tunstall last night at the Ryman.  Paddy Casey opened for her … he’s an Irish singer songwriter.  KT sounds just the same in person as she does on her albums.  She has an incredible voice and is very personable as well.

I used to be in sales. So I had a lot of practice making small talk with people I didn't know. I'm actually pretty good at it. I can go to a party with a bunch of strangers and usually meet a few people and converse without totally sticking my foot in my mouth or saying something stupid.

But introduce me to a celebrity and I become a stuttering, bumbling, embarrassing mess.

Sometimes it seems so easy to follow Jesus. Like it natural and right. Other times my doubt overcomes me and I do not see the point. I feel cheated for believing. The funny thing is most people start to doubt when they see bad things happening around them and believe when everything is working out for them — I would not be that person.
