I'm told they'll be here Sunday morning, my mother, father, sister and her husband.

I still have no couch. I just unpacked the last of the boxes from the move. I didn't go get a haircut.

I'm a bit of a LOST geek. To the end, I was reading some theory pages on Lostpedia and came across something that made me smile.

I was wandering the streets Thursday and Friday, and discovered something odd. In covering Wednesday's abandoned HUD house takeover by the Nashville Homeless Power Project, some individuals mistakenly believed that because I was writing the newspaper article for the Contributor, this effort somehow equated me with being a full-fledged supporter of the event.

Well, last summer, I developed a terribly bad habit.

I just got back from Cape Cod again (via Internet, of course). A couple of weeks ago I found this site, a group of bloggers and small town newspapers around the bay.

I can't stay away. I've discovered that:

Sometimes, I’m such a girl. I’m packing for a conference I have to go to and I have warily been eyeballing my closet when it occurred to me that all I own are Crocs, jeans and a variety of T-shirts that have stupid sayings on them.

Of course, when I came into possession of said T-shirts, I though I was the most clever person alive. Last night, not so much.
