I am addicted to fruit. I went to Sam's Club yesterday and got my weekly goodies. Every week I get home from Sam's and put all my fruit and veggies on the counter and gaze at it lovingly. It makes me feel oh-so healthy (haha). I took a picture of my bounty yesterday.

It seems predictable to write about your father on Father's day, I know this. I know a lot of people will post tributes and memories and I will read them and tear up. I can't do that. Take no insult but I find praising him today a little too, I don't know, pedestrian. I love my father. I don't need a specific day for that.

Back in love with baseball, if only for two innings.

As you know, I’ve been whining about being sick. Yesterday will probably go into the Newscoma Book of World Records as being one of the top ten worse days of feeling like a hockey puck stuck in cow dookey.

This morning, I still feel rotten.

I have some meds but it appears I have a hybrid of a new and exciting illness that is a combination of bronchitis and the flu. Have you ever been on steroids and been monstrously nauseous at the same time?
