I have to concur with the Brainstem on this one. Much has been made of John McCain prowess in the town hall debate format but just because that is how the man prefers to campaign does not give him an advantage.

So, I’m reading this profile in Newsweek on her and I’m struck by something I just wanted to say out-loud:

She seems to have thought that her job was to fix John Edwards.

This made me shake my head.  I mean, of course she did.

John Rodgers reveals that Congressman Marsha Blackburn ain’t playing games:

A primary challenge has aroused Marsha Blackburn’s fund-raising prowess.

COLUMBIA - Jone (pronounced Joan-ee) Lewis started working on the restoration of Pop Geers Park, Columbia’s first city park, in 2001.

Politico looks at the fundraising prowess of Jesse Helms:

Fund-raising struggles for Leatherwood, provides the final death nail in his political viability to seriously challenge Blackburn.
Congressman Blackburn has managed to accumulate enough to thwart any further challenges, but significantly less than her last election cycle.

The Other McCain thinks the Barack Obama campaign may be making a mistake by not focusing their resources on the battleground states:

So I got the tip and then I went to the site and then i realized it’s the Encore/lightening storm photographer guy!  And that he’s a true Renaissance man because he also can COOK A STEAK.  Like really COOK A STEAK.  It’s this sort of convoluted method - but in a good way - that seems to be totally working for him and well, I am not one to arg
