In an article about digital music, Wired editor Nancy Miller proclaimed the CD to be "dead and gone" and advised record labels on how best to sell their products. "At a certain point record companies are going to have to go with what is the cheapest way of distribution, and that's digital," she said.

The hubs is headed to the Radiohead concert in Atlanta ( I graciously gave up my ticket for his friend.. . ha!) but because we've been a bit in Radiohead mode this week I came across this new video of theirs and WOW!

1. Apparently Ritter knows just how special "The Temptation of Adam" is. When it came time to play it, he turned down all the lights. All of them. It was like we were down in that bunker too.

1a. The Belcourt is an excellent place for a show like this—one that benefits from an attentive crowd—and the sound was superior.

I’ve had two days in the studio with Neilson Hubbard now, and it’s going well. We’ve been deciding which songs to pursue and then outlining them, getting the keys, tempos, grooves and main melodies down.

This year's Lollapalooza show in Chicago looks to be one of the best yet with a lineup that includes Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Kanye West, Wilco, and The Raconteurs.
