I waited 4 hours at an Apple store to buy what I thought was one iPhone, when hey what the heck, get two new ones... And pay it forward on the old iPhone.

today i spent time online with tim & others in tim's organized weekly skypecast. it was cool, my microphone worked the whole time this week. the first time i plugged into the skypecast the microphone crapped out after about 10 minutes and i did the chat thing.

I had another one of my (in)famous conversations with The School Girl on the ride home from work this afternoon. We were listening to the radio when a song by The Cult came on. She gave this weird look towards the stereo as if she wasn’t sure who the artist was. I informed her of the band’s name and we continued on from there:

I saw some pretty contentious posts yesterday after the South Carolina Democratic Debate. Usually it was on the left. I’m from the left, so I paid attention.

I said last year that whoever stands on that stage in Denver later in the year is going to be the one getting all of our votes. Same with the Republicans.

I’ve never quite known how to take Vince Vaughn. I think the thing is, I’ve liked most of his movies, but haven’t much liked him. Seeing him tonight in Wedding Crashers, I think it’s more complex than that — I like him as the jackass you hate, so long as there’s an Owen Wilson representing decent humans. Or something like that.
