There was a good turnout of Belmont students for the training session lead by Christy Ridings, University Ministries. The images of the destruction on Union's campus made for a quiet room. Volunteers on this trip will be doing manual labor. The team departed early this morning for Jackson and should return to campus around 8:00PM tonight.

Ken Kraybill will be coming to Nashville in February to provide training to those who are involved in any way with Homeless outreach. The training targets outreach workers but also, and perhaps more importantly, those who dictate what outreach workers will be doing (read that supervisors and program directors), as well as anyone interested in discovering better ways to engage and interact with our Homeless population.
