Six years ago this today, Shark Boy was born. I remember lying in my hospital bed watching Mr. P cradling our tiny boy in his strong arms and smiling the biggest smile I'd ever seen on my husband's face. And little Shark was scowling the fierest, most hilarious scowl ever seen on a person who is 2 minutes old.

Here is a picture of the "do not disturb" sign from our hotel on Crete. As you can see, a spell checker was not used before they printed them. I meant to post this earlier, but can you believe I actually forgot about it until I was looking through our pictures again. Obviously, this was quite an inducer of merriment for me and my husband, since we are apparently six years old.

We are nearing the last day of elementary school for Suzie and Kenzo. This is proving to be more unnerving to me than I expected.

I was in the cafeteria for lunch today and realized that this would probably be the "last time" I had lunch with them in this school where they have been for the last six years. And that the next couple of days will bring lots of lasts...
