Okay, today was a big freakin’ deal. 

First, I made the 21st red magic marker mark on my printed-off walk-to-run schedule from Nike+ .  It’s around this time in any new undertaking that I start getting a little lazy, thinking that I can skip a day.  And maybe other people can, but I can’t let myself do that.

My husband's family entered this race, and his mother told all her friends that I was going to win the race. No pressure. Now, I knew I wouldn't win, but I was looking for a good time. Today, the training schedule reads "Speed training - 3 miles." I wanted to come in under 23 minutes.
