There is a really good discussion going on right now at Volunteer Voters about Barack Obama’s skin color and how it relates to his campaign. I have always believed that Obama’s skin pigment, coupled with the fact that he never mentions it, is a net positive for the Illinois Senator. Americans love firsts and black Americans would love to see “one of their own” elected President.
