It is a beautiful day to start here in Cookeville, TN. Morning temperatures are 43.5° with a heavy dew this morning. We expect temperatures to run up to around 73° this afternoon under a mostly sunny sky.

Another beautiful morning here on the Cumberland Plateau in Middle Tennessee. We're currently in the lower 50's under sunny skies (52.6° to be exact!)
Our forecast today calls for the high temperature to reach 82°.

The Dogwood Arts Festival on Market Square is being held this week, April 11-13.
My Mother and I went yesterday to beat the crowds and the weather. It was a beautiful day even with the wind.

Yup!! Today is Neil Hollis' 1st birthday!!! He turned 1!!! Coby and I thought about him all day long and got so excited thinking that this time next year we will get to be with him on his birthday!!

So last night my scooter wouldn’t start…the battery appears to be kaput, or at least drained, so I tried to kick-start it. Obviously I don’t understand the concept of kick-starting because I was trying to do it without the kick-stand up. Once Jason enlightened me, I tried that and it worked!
