The good ol' boys at Red State Update give Nashville Scene editor Liz Garrigan a nice little send off as she prepares to go into the book world and be replaced by a carpetbagger from Ohio.

One of my favorite comedians, George Carlin, has died of heart failure. At 71 he was still funnier and edgier than many of the comedians out there...tis a shame. Enjoy this classic.

Two words.

New Orleans.

Tiny Pasture today reports on the big Hobbs story in the Sunday paper.  And yet, he leaves the obvious comment uncommented upon.  For shame, Tiny Pasture, for shame.  Look at the comedic potential.

Dan Collins links to a Telegraph article proclaiming a “dignified exit”, a “negotiated surrender” will be proffered to Hillary. According to the article, there’ll be a token closet cabinet role offered to the poor ‘ole gal.
Shame that the time isn’t right for a woman to become become the United States President.
