I think it’s a blogger statute that says that after so many days of not posting, one must post a brain dump before more coherent posts can be written.  And, I’m all about the law, so here goes.

Today is the 19th anniversary of Lintilla’s 29th birthday.

I got her an iPod Nano, because that’s what she wanted.

She is and always will be the love of my life. 

Here’s a nice, long-winded catch up post.  Let me tell you what’s been going on lately:

One thing they don’t warn you about when you first become a parent: the most prevalent emotion you will feel from day one is self doubt, and it never goes away.

They had the academic awards ceremony at my kids’ school last night.  It’s rough, because it’s easy to get caught up in the whole competitive nature of these things.  It’s an academic-oriented school, so for many of the kids and parents, last night was their Raison d’être.

Zaphod and Trillian are mad, mad mad - and I can’t say that I don’t blame them.

Later in the year, maybe the fall when Lintilla has some time built up, we might seriously consider this program.
